About Yamaha
dir="ltr">When you think of Yamaha, you think of high performance motorcycles. This is not a modern trend, but has been the company’s philosophy ever since its inception back in the 1950s. In 1950, Genichi Kawakami became the 4th generation president of Nippon Gakki - a company that produced musical instruments and electronics. Kawakami decided to expand the Nippon Gakki company’s portfolio into motorcycles. For this, in 1954 Kawakami’s team of engineers made their first prototype motorcycle, the YA-1 - a 125cc single cylinder 2-stroke machine. It was a motorcycle that proved its mettle through an unprecedented 10,000km endurance test and in 1955, Yamaha Motor Co Ltd was formed along with its own factory to mass produce this motorcycle. In the proceeding years, the YA-1 won many races throughout Japan, and established Yamaha as a manufacturer of performance motorcycles.
Yamaha’s Indian journey began in 1985 when they tied up with the Escorts group to start local production of Yamaha motorcycles in the country. Under this joint venture, Escorts Yamaha produced some iconic motorcycles such as the RD350, the Rajdoot and the RX100, all of which tickled the fancies of performance motorcycle enthusiasts in India. Yamaha made many successful 2-stroke motorcycles in India such as the RD, RX and RXG, but with the growing demand for more fuel-efficient motorcycles and ever more stringent emissions norms, the company made their first 4-stroke for India - the YBX 125.
In 2001, Escorts and Yamaha parted ways, and Yamaha India Motor was born. After striking out on their own, the company didn’t enjoy a huge amount of success with any of their models until 2008, when they launched the FZ16 - a 160cc muscular naked that took India by storm. They quickly followed that up with the YZF-R15 - a true baby supersport with a 150cc 4-valve liquid-cooled engine that properly paid homage to Yamaha’s greats such as the YZF-R6 and YZF-R1. Both the FZ and R15 have been among the company’s most popular models ever since and have seen multiple evolutions over the years. In 2012, the company launched their first scooter in India - the Ray, and since then has launched many scooters such as the Alpha, RayZR, Fascino (one of their best sellers) and most recently, the Aerox 155 - India’s first true performance maxi scooter powered by the same liquid cooled VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) motor from the latest generation R15.

FZ-X3.4185 reviewsI got my FZ-X variant last
I got my fz-x variant last year in august, 2021.First things first, I bought it only for the looks and the driving experience at the time of purchase was secondary, And it has not disappointed me in that regards.People have stopped me and asked about the bike.Coming to the driving part, I'll list the pros first:extremely good handling, The rider balance is great, Pickup is good as well almost on par with apache.Company installed tyres' grip is good for ride on wet and scratchy roads.Mileage is as expected they promised 45 to me, But it is around 36-38 for me.Now moving on to the cons:isn't made for most indian roads and you could not just sense but hear the vibrations when your tyres go into small pit.Has to make a lot of effort to touch 100 kmph mark.If you take it out during rain, Even though it's handling is fine, You will not come back without the dirt on all over your pants, And if you are the pillion rider, Then 'god save you'.The bike comes with a bluetooth connection and it's details can be tracked on the 'yamaha app' but the app looks like a college project without any actual(or working) functionality. So i hope now i have cleared some doubts about the bike.

The Yamaha YZF-R15 V4 continues to be a trustworthy tool for riders looking to hone their track-riding skills. Of course, it is now a bit ergonomically friendlier and roomy enough for larger riders too. Additions like the traction control and quick shifter only amplify the bike’s sportiness. So, in our books, despite the price jump, the R15 V4 is a worthy proposition. On the other hand, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has soldiered through nine years of intense competition. As a result, pricing, features, and ease of use have ceased to be the bike’s strengths. The NS still puts up a strong fight in the BS6 era and is a perfect fit for those who like their bikes sporty and a little raw. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

While the V4 looks different, its dimensions, including the seat height and wheelbase, are identical to the V3. So, unsurprisingly, pillion comfort is unchanged as the lower position for the stepped seat is maintained here too. However, the rider will be more comfortable here. The clip-on bars are positioned slightly higher and are now angled flatter, giving you a more relaxed seating posture which will prove valuable for everyday use and for longer rides. It is incredible just how intuitive, light and adjustable the V4 is while also offering an even higher level of confidence and security. Being able to hug, scooch and hang off the R15 even more intimately and smoothly helps too, all thanks to the new handlebar position and the resculpted tank. The R15 still feels just as involving and exciting to ride. The VVA lets the V4 rev easily upwards of 7400rpm, which lets this little motorcycle get to the triple-digit mark without much hassle. We even saw an indicated 129kmph while testing! Also, the power delivery feels like one clean sweep now right from low revs as under 4000rpm the motor feels less urgent than before. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read more -2021 Yamaha R15 V4 First Ride: Eternally Young?.

Both the bikes are good in their forte. The design update has given the KTM 200 Duke a new lease of life. Also, the fact that the new BS6-compliant motor does not lose out on performance almost makes it feel like a win-win. That said, the substantial hike in price means it is now more expensive than larger motorcycles such as the Suzuki Gixxer 250. However, when it comes to thrills, the KTM 200 Duke delivers it in spades! On the other hand, The updates as expected have made the new MT-15 a better bike. It looks more premium, handles better and the addition of a few new features is welcome. But we were expecting more from Yamaha! The dullness of the engine is disappointing and the lack of dual-channel ABS is just beyond any reasoning with this performance on tap. As for goodies such as a quick-shifter and traction control, they should have been offered as part of a premium variant. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read more -Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 Road Test Review - The Perfect Imperfection.
