Mahindra XUV700 Latest Updates

For the third time this year, prices for the XUV700 have been hiked, this time by up to Rs 36,000. The waiting periods of the XUV700 have been brought down by the carmaker. The SUV had a peak waiting period of up to 19 months in select cities, which has now been cut down to an average time ranging between two and six months depending on the city in question. However, cities like Pune and Thane still have a waiting period of one year.

Mahindra XUV700 Engine

Mahindra has provided the XUV700 with two powertrain options: 200PS/380Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel which is available in two states of tune: 156PS/360Nm (MX trim) and 185PS/450Nm (AX trim). The 156PS unit is paired to a 6-speed manual, while the remaining powertrains are available with both manual and 6-speed automatic options. As standard, the SUV comes with a front-wheel drivetrain, however there’s an optional all-wheel drivetrain available with the diesel AX7 AT trim. The diesel engine gets four drive modes: Zip, Zap, Zoom, and Custom (Individual). The XUV700 is 4695mm long and has a width of 1890mm. It is 1755mm tall with a wheelbase of 2750mm.

Mahindra XUV700 Variants

The Mahindra XUV700 is available in two broad trims: MX and AX (Adrenox). The latter is available in four wide-ranging variants: AX3, AX5, AX7 and AX7 L. The SUV is available in both 5-seater or a 7-seater configuration.

Mahindra XUV700 Features

The XUV700 comes with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with Mahindra’s AdrenoX infotainment software), a Sony 3D sound system with roof-mounted speakers, Alexa AI connectivity, high beam assist, and personalised voice safety alerts. Other feature highlights include a powered driver’s seat with memory function, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start, and ambient lighting. Safety features consist of seven airbags, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitor, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and driver fatigue warning. It also gets segment-first features like level-1 autonomous driving tech with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

Mahindra XUV700 Competitors

The 5-seater variant of the Mahindra XUV700 takes on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Tata Harrier, MG Astor and Hector. On the other hand, the 7-seater takes the fight to the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar.

    The xuv700 is an amazing vehicle.Both the scorpio n and the xuv700 have been test driven by me.The automobile is a great investment.The diesel manual luxury pack midnight black xuv700 is reserved by me.Although the scorpio n was fantastic, The xuv700 offered the whole package i was searching for.Interior aspects including the touchscreen, Colour scheme, And functions have outperformed other market competitors.The segment's best performance is the one that is the major focus.When you step on the gas pedal, You can immediately feel the power and how smooth the suspension is.I firmly advise the xuv700 diesel.
