Tork Motors has finally launched the Kratos in India at Rs 1.32 lakh (ex-showroom Pune) onwards. The bike will available in two variants, and bosts of a bunch of features. To know more details, read our launch story.

Tork Kratos Engine

The Tork Kratos uses an Axial Flux motor built in-house. This motor is capable of achieving a peak output of 7.5kW and 27Nm on the standard variant, while the ‘R’ variant peaks at 9kW and 38Nm. This motor is paired with a 4kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It has a claimed range of 120km, and can charge in 4 to 5 hours with the home charger. The top variant can charge up to 80 percent within an hour using the fast charger. The Tork Kratos uses a split trellis frame which is suspended onto a telescopic fork and a monoshock. It boasts of a ground clearance of 165mm and tips the scales at 140kg.

Tork Kratos Design

The Tork Kratos’ design is very similar to what one would expect from a traditional ICE motorcycle. It features an LED headlight flanked by LED DRLs, a muscular ‘tank’ that is the storage box, and big tank shrouds, extending all the way to the belly.

Tork Kratos Features

The Tork Kratos is loaded to the gills with features. multiple riding modes, including a reverse assist, to regenerative braking, USB charging, storage box, digital instrument console with connectivity features. Tork also has a dedicated mobile app that will allow for features like geo fencing, ride telemetry, charging status and even a charging station location.

Tork Kratos Competitors

The Tork Kratos’ only rival is the Revolt RV400. However, at a similar price you can also opt for the Ather 450X. But if it is an electric motorcycle that you are looking for, the upcoming Ultraviolette F77 could be worth the wait.

    Received my kratos-r on 22 october 22.It's performance figures are phenomenal and it's main plus point is it's app.The data directly goes to factory server for performance analysis and they can use it for internal r&d use.Simultaneously, They can track exact location of the vehicle.This helps in theft prevention of bike.
