It's the end of the road for Datsun in India as the carmaker announced it has stopped production of the Redi-GO at its manufacturing plant in Chennai. The Redi-Go will still remain on sale, but only limited stocks will be available.

Excellent power
My driving experience was good, Excellent power output, Can experience fierce japanese engine power due to less body weight.Bit cost cutting by datsun on rear doors but the smooth steering compensats for all.

Good driving experience with compare to wagon-r, Mostly inner space, Booting space is little good, Good mileage up to 21 km.No other expense.Comfortable for heighted persons.Average maintenance cost is rs.2000 after 10000 km service.Good experience.

1.0Gear system
Totally it is worst vehicle in all respect.Don't purchase it.I had very bad experience with vehicle.Vehicle look, Mileage, Break system, Interior fitting, Clearance, Flood light, Wind glass, Back lights, Gear system and every other all are very bad.Don't purchase this worst vehicle.

4.7Long drive
Good car with mileage maintenance and comfort. Safety may be concern for long drive as it is designed for city. I traveled with interstate no issue with performance and mileage Top speed I reached upto 120km/h then steering wobbles

3.3Driver seat
it seems, Datsun redi-go has a default problem of brake. It doesn't provide command and feel of control over vehicle when using its brakes. Reverse gear drive also not comfortable. boot opener given below driver seat, totally brainless. also, power windows buttons given under hand brake, Japanese car but no brain used here too designing the car. bought though, due to look and budget for automatic, just few Kms (10) drive a day and didn't know these lacking before buying. recommend not to buy, better alternative is celerio but probably 1lac+ more.
