TVS NTORQ 125 Latest Updates

TVS has launched the NTorq 125 Race Edition in a new Marine Blue colour. Read our launch story for all the details.

TVS NTORQ 125 Engine

The TVS NTorq is powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine putting out 9.38PS and 10.5Nm. However, if you opt for the Race XP variant, the same motor is tweaked to deliver 10.2PS and 10.8Nm, making it the most powerful 125cc scooter in India. Suspension duties on the TVS NTorq 125 are handled by a telescopic fork and a monoshock at the rear. The 220mm front disc brake is optional, however, the CBS remains standard regardless of the variant.

TVS NTORQ 125 Variants

The TVS NTorq 125 is available in five variants: Drum, Disc, Race Edition, Super Squad Edition Race XP, and XT priced at Rs 77,106, Rs 81,561, Rs 85,161, Rs 87,661, Rs 89,221, and Rs 1,02,823 respectively. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

TVS NTORQ 125 Design

The NTorq 125's snazzy and sporty design is one of the main reasons why it is such a popular scooter among the younger crowd. The BS6 Ntorq carries forward the same design seen on the older scooter but the Race Edition features bolder graphics, hazard lights, and an LED headlight. Upping the ante is the newly launched Race XP variant which gets a striking red/white/grey livery and flashy red alloy wheels. Meanwhile, if you're an Avengers fan, the NTorq also comes in a Super Squad edition, which comes with a choice of three Marvel Avengers superhero-inspired graphics.

TVS NTORQ 125 Features

Thanks to its latest update, the TVS NTorq 125 is easily the most feature-loaded ICE scooter on sale in the country. It gets a multifunction LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity to track various parameters of the scooter using the TVS SMARTXONNECT app. Other notable features include turn-by-turn navigation, 22-litre underseat storage with a USB charging port and boot light, external fuel filler cap, LED tail lamp, engine-kill switch, and pass-beam function. Topping this list are the two new segment-first additions -- Voice assisted controls and riding modes (only present on the Race XP variant). While the riding modes let you choose between Race and Street modes, the voice assist covers functions like mode change, navigation, console brightness adjustment and DnD mode. The latest XT variant packs a new industry-first hybrid split TFT and LCD digital instrument cluster with the new TVS SmartXonnect, which features a dedicated screen for the Race Mode. It packs start-stop tech with silent starter, lap timer, top speed indicator, and a 0-60kmph timer. Additionally, it gets a SmartXtalk voice assistant that can be used to control modes, screen brightness, music control and navigation. It also gets a SmartXtrack feature that gives you live notifications on weather, news, cricket and social updates while at a standstill.

TVS NTORQ 125 Competitors

The TVS Ntorq 125 BS6 competes against the Aprilia SR125, Yamaha RayZR 125 and the Suzuki Avenis and Burgman Street 125. However, if you were to consider the price, the NTorq also takes on the Honda Shine, Hero Super Splendor, and Yamaha Fascino 125.

What is good and bad in NTORQ?

  • NTORQ Positives

Gets a powerful refined motor, Digital display offers Bluetooth connectivity and a host of information, Well-balanced suspension setup.

  • NTORQ Negatives

The seat is on the softer side and isn't meant for long hauls, Brakes lack bite and feel.

  • Expert's Conclusion

If you're looking for a fast, fun to ride and feature-rich scooter, the TVS Ntorq 125 is the right choice for you. It still remains the benchmark for performance in its class and the sporty styling adds to its appeal. Our only grouse is the premium pricing post the BS6 update.

It's been 2 years prons the bike is a beast so the speed is same as it was before mileage 40-42 / ltr cons the petrol lid always jams up and it's so annoying

  • Power beast

It's a power beast. It has a 125 cc engine and 2 mods.Street mode and race mode.It can go upto 107 kmh (without windblast). There is one issue that the back holder where we hold for grip is not that good because if i accelerate it to half or full throttle the person who sits behaind me almost fall of because there is no back holder so that is the only thing i keep in mind raiding with someone. And that's all i wanted to review its a very good moped.

  • Mileage reading

Ntorq mileage, After just four months of usage, is 52 km /liter. This mileage reading is with an average min speed of 50km/hr, Including peak speeds of 85+ km/hr. So in economy mode, I can assure you a mileage of 45 + kms. This is absolutely possible, or else get a good service of your vehicle good.
