Toyota Innova Hycross

The new generation Innova Hycross will get a petrol hybrid powertrain likely consisting of a 2.0-litre petrol unit paired to a strong hybrid unit combining together to produce 190PS. Power will be delivered to the front wheels only. A petrol-only powertrain is also expected to be offered, but there won’t be a diesel engine option.

Its features list should include all the equipment offered in an Innova Crysta which gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, cruise control, steering-mounted audio controls, a coloured multi-info display, and keyless entry with push-button start. A panoramic sunroof will also be present for the first time, while it could also get other premium features like head up display, digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats and a bigger infotainment system. It should come loaded with safety features such as multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, a rear view camera, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and hill start assist.

Toyota’s new generation MPV will be a premium alternative to the Kia Carens and Mahindra Marazzo, while being an affordable proposition to the likes of the Kia Carnival.
