Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Latest Updates

The Toyota Hyryder CNG has been introduced in India. The CNG option will be offered on the S and G variants, exclusively with the standard 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine and manual gearbox. The Hyryder CNG is expected to offer a reduced output of 87PS on CNG mode, lower than the petrol-only version’s 103PS output.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Engine

The Urban Cruiser Hyrder gets two 1.5-litre petrol powertrain options with mild-hybrid and self-charging strong hybrid. The latter has an output of 92PS/122Nm through the ICE unit and 80PS/141Nm from the electric motor which is geared using an e-CVT setup. The mild-hybrid powertrain produces 102PS/135Nm, available with both two-wheel and all-wheel drivetrains with the choice of a 5-speed manual and automatic torque converter (front-wheel drive only).

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Variants

The SUV is available in four trims: E, S, G, and V. The strong-hybrid powertrains are offered with the S, G, and V trim.

There are seven colour hues to spec the SUV in: Cave Black, Sportin Red, Speedy Blue, Enticing Silver, Cafe White, Gaming Grey, and Midnight Black.

Dual tone colour shades with a black roof include: Sportin Red, Speedy Blue, Enticing Silver, Cafe White.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Features

The comfort amenities onboard the Toyota SUV comprise a 9-inch infotainment system, wireless phone charging, head-up display, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 360-degree camera, connected car technology, ventilated front seats, digital driver’s display and a panoramic sunroof. Its safety kit comprises six airbags, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system and hill-hold assist.
