Toyota India has launched the Hilux pickup truck in India at Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s a diesel-only offering and is offered in two broad trims: Standard and High. Bookings are temporarily halted due to a variety of factors affecting its supply, making it unable to meet customer demand. Bookings were being accepted for a token amount of Rs 50,000 online, and Rs 1 lakh at Toyota’s dealerships.
