Ultraviolette F77 Latest Updates

Ultraviolette F77 launch date has been revealed. Click here for all the details. Ahead of its official launch, the company has also revealed all the updates that the F77 has undergone. It comes with a whopping 307km claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range, reworked chassis and swingarm with a new fixed battery, tuned motor, and more. You can read all about it in our detailed analysis here.

Ultraviolette unveiled the F77 back in November 2019. While the deliveries were slated to commence in October 2020, the pandemic had put a dampener on the brand's plans. We caught up with the brand and learnt quite a bit about how the development progress has been for the F77. Take a look at our exclusive report here.

The F77 is powered by a 25kW electric motor which produces 90Nm (at the motor), making it the most powerful electric motorcycle in India. This is good enough to give the bike a top speed of 147kmph.

Underpinnings consist of a trellis frame suspended on an upside down fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. A 320mm front disc and 230mm rear disc provide stopping power on the F77. Switchable dual-channel ABS is offered as standard, and other features on the F77 include a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, a bike locator, OTA updates and data-logging. There are no direct rivals to the F77. The electric bike is likely to be priced at around Rs 3.5-4 lakh (ex-showroom, without subsidies). It slots above other popular electric bikes in India such as the Revolt RV400, Hop Oxo, Tork Kratos and Oben Rorr.
