Maruti Suzuki Dzire

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is currently offered with a single 90PS 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine. It comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT. Though it misses out on the mild hybrid system found in the Baleno Dualjet, it still comes with a start stop function. The sub-compact sedan can also be had with a CNG kit which produces a reduced output of 77PS and 98.5Nm, paired to a 5-speed manual. Maruti states the manual variant returns 23.26kmpl while the AMT variant has a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.12kmpl. The CNG kit returns a claimed mileage of 31.12km/kg. In terms of dimensions, the Dzire is 3995mm long, 1735mm wide, 1515mm tall and has a 2450mm wheelbase.

The sub-compact sedan can be had in four trims: LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+. All variants apart from the base are offered with the AMT. The VXI and ZXI trims can be had with a CNG kit.

Maruti has equipped the Dzire with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, climate control, a multi-info display, keyless entry with push button start, and LED headlamps with LED DRLs. Its safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors with camera.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is an alternative to the Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor.
