Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Latest Updates

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is the oldest motorcycle in continuous production. Over the course of its life, it has stayed more or less the same, with only minor modifications to help it comply with ever changing safety and emission norms.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Engine

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder engine making 19.3PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm. The motor is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine nestles inside a traditional single downtube frame suspended by a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. For braking, it gets a front 280mm disc and 153mm rear drum brake. However, single-channel ABS on Bullet 350 has been available since 2019.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Variants

The Bullet 350 BS6 is offered in two variants- standard and ES. Apart from the electric starter, the ES variant also gets brighter colours on the fuel tank, along with a blacked-out finish on the powertrain and underpinnings. After the recent price hike, the standard variant costs Rs 1,68,584 for the Bullet Silver and Onyx Black colour variants, and Rs 1,75,584 for the Black colour option. On the other hand, all the three colour variants of the Bullet 350 ES (Jet Black, Regal Red and Royal Blue) are priced at Rs 1,85,289. All prices are on-road Delhi.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Design

Over the years, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350’s design has stayed more or less unchanged. Royal Enfield has maintained this iconic look as it offers a strong sense of nostalgia, one usually associated with the old-school British motorcycles. Adding to the bike's retro look is the round headlamp with a chrome nacelle, iconic ‘Tiger lamps’, classic-styled fuel tank, and a single-piece quilted leather seat.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Features

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 continues to be a simple, no-frills motorcycle. Barring the fuel injection system and single-channel ABS, it doesn’t get any other modern features. It gets an analogue instrument cluster which displays speedometer and odometer readings, apart from the tell-tale lights. The amp meter pod has been replaced with an engine check light and low fuel light in the BS6 iteration.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Competitors

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 rivals the likes of Honda H’Ness CB350, and the Benelli Imperiale 400. That said, all these motorcycles are more advanced and each of them are considerably more expensive than the Bullet 350.

What is good and bad in Bullet 350?

  • Bullet 350 Positives

Most affordable Royal Enfield bike. Old-School Styling. Meaty torque.

  • Bullet 350 Negatives

Performance could be more exciting. No rear disc brake option. Feels a bit dated compared to rivals.

  • Expert's Conclusion

Motorcycling doesn’t get much simpler than the Royal Enfield Bullet 350. Its torquey motor produces the same thumping sound that Bulleteers have enjoyed for decades. It is also the most affordable Royal Enfield motorcycle and it shows how the brand has managed to keep this bare-basic roadster alive even in the BS6 era.
